Let’s dive in: The Sarah Palin emails

I’ve been perusing the first few rounds of Sarah Palin’s emails, and haven’t found much interesting, though apparently she wanted a tanning bed for the governor’s mansion at one point.

The one thing I’ve noticed is that she apparently doesn’t care much for typing…most of the emails from her are one sentence or less. She also has an affinity for IMspeak and email abbreviations: “pls,” “thru,” “tkts” and “u,” among others.

Since there are more than 24,000 pages of emails, it could take a while until the juicier bits are uncovered. For updates as they come in, you can look here, or, if you want to read the emails for yourself, here they are.
