Pete Carroll admits to crying over Super Bowl loss

...

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told ‘Today’s Show’ Matt Lauer Thursday he uses tough situations to fuel success and admitted he’s cried over the Super Bowl loss.

In the interview, Carroll said the final call Sunday was the “worst result of a call ever,” but it would have been great had someone caught the ball.

He said the team’s story of redemption is already in the works.

As for coming to grips with the loss, Carroll admitted he’s shed a tear.

“Just, lying in bed with [my wife] Glena,” he said. “Like, in the middle of the night, you know? 4:05 in the a.m. That’s what happened. That was my opportunity to go ahead and visit it.”
