Dan Satterberg, loyalty to the letter R and insanity

Dan Satterberg has the job title of King County Prosecutor. Until recently he was a “Republican.” In reality, Satterberg is neither. He refused to defend your right to vote against government-funded heroin dens; he refuses to prosecute heroin dealing, meth-cooking and dealing, most property crimes, criminal trespass and a host of other laws. Satterberg’s office has placed violent, teen gang members in diversion programs where they apparently went on to murder people. These positions are not Republican, nor are they in line with being the county’s prosecutor.

He may be against everything and anything we stand for, he may have sold his office to the SEIU, he may be utterly destroying our region, but that’s a pretty R by his name, ain’t it?

Until Dan put a “D” by his name, professional Republicans and people in media who have constructed their life around being part of the social circles of professional Rs, have been willing to support a man whose regular course of business is to refuse to prosecute heroin dealing, heroin consumption, property crimes and gang  crimes, meth-cooking and criminal trespassing.

Fecklessness, like elections, has consequences

Here is a brief snapshot of the environment created  by Satterberg’s professional impotence and pandering to leftist social justice warriors. As you read, keep in mind that the Republican Party apparently made no effort to recruit a candidate to run against Satterberg, that Satterberg waited until the filing deadline to officially become a Democrat, that the Republican Party could push hard for a write-in candidate, but will not because their job is electing people with Rs by their name, regardless of what they actually do in office. It is insane that being a “Republican” means, well, nothing but having a letter by your name.

As of 11:29 a.m. Sunday, this is the Satterberg-policy weekend:

Christine Elias of the King County Sheriff’s Office. Several other people were also in the home. The firearm used in the shooting was found, and a 16-year-old suspect was arrested.
