KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson has been in love with Olivia Newton-John since he was 14 years old. On Tuesday, he finally got the chance to speak with her and ask the questions he’d always wondered about. That includes if she gets annoyed by all the love confessions she receives.

“Oh no, I take it with a grain of salt,” she said. “I understand it was many years ago. It’s OK, it’s nice.”

And with that, Dori had to ask the “Grease” star: “If you and I had met 35 years ago, based on the conversation we just had, do you think I would have had a chance with you?”

Listen to Olivia Newton-John’s response below

Newton-John will perform at the Snoqualmie Casino on Aug. 25.
