Why I think King County’s Dow Constantine is bad with tax funds

Dow Constantine says we’re going to have to make cuts within the King County Sheriff’s Office and the Prosecuting Attorney’s budget. This is a filthy lie and a scam.

Because Constantine is also telling us that we need to give him $54 billion to fund Sound Transit’s pyramid scheme. Yet ST1 and ST2 haven’t even been finished; for a train that 97 percent of us won’t ever use.
But we don’t have a $100 million for the Sheriff’s office?
Constantine says the county’s only truly flexible source of money is the general fund. But I’ve already found money in the budget for this. Metro makes up 19 percent of the budget. I would cut it. We need more police officers.
Some questions I have for our leaders and Sound Transit are: Why do we need another transit plan that will only serve 3 percenrt of commuters but is double the size of the entire State of Washington? Why don’t we build things in five-year increments? Why don’t we finish ST1 and ST2 first? Why does anyone who works at Sound Transit have a company car? Why don’t they use transit?
Dow Constantine is a coward and is afraid to come on with me and debate these issues.
