The days of you driving your own cars are numbered

Sometimes you have to read further into a story to get to the good stuff.
There’s a new poll that says that most people would vote against Sound Transit if they could do it all over again. But Jay Inslee is still a strong supporter of the $54 billion Sound Transit “project.”
Gov. Inslee recently got together with some “one percenters” and signed an executive order so that driverless cars can begin testing on Washington roads. Inslee wrote, or his people did, that autonomous cars could produce “transformational societal benefits.” Which makes me wonder if I have enough survival gear at home.

He also spoke about having a light touch with regulation for the driverless car industry. You know why? Because he wants the industry to grow, that’s what happens when you don’t heavily regulate it.
I am positive that plans are in place so that the days of you driving your own cars are numbered.
And the transformational societal benefit will be that there is no more driving where whey don’t want you to drive. If you live far out of town, your car will no longer drive you into the city. It will drive you to one of their train stations though.
Does this sound like the rantings of a lunatic? It’s not.
The government will soon be deciding where you can go and at what time; mass transit controlled by computer system.
