Bannon, administrative state...

The single greatest thing I’ve ever heard a Republican operative say was spoken last week. Steve Bannon said there was going to be a “deconstruction of the administrative state.”

Related: We are at war for our country, but not our family and friends

The Washington Post freaked out about these statements, because they are robots blinded to their own programming. And I’m not here to say Steve Bannon is a great guy.

When you live in Washington D.C. and socialize with the people who run all the different administrations you see the people, you don’t see the administrative state itself. The administrative state is the non-constitutional, invented bureaucracies that were initially intended to enforce the laws written by Congress. They’ve morphed into a state; their own country.

And some of these bureaucracies, like the IRS, have their own courts. Isn’t that convenient? They’re judge and jury. That’s the administrative state. That’s what needs to be shut down.

Had I known from Bannon that this was a pillar of the Trump administration, it may have moved me to join their movement. I wish they had been open about this because this is key to restoring freedom.

As always, please listen to the full audio clip for complete context.
