Is the United States headed for a revolution?

Jul 5, 2016, 8:10 PM

It seems so many people think a revolution is coming. But are we already in the middle of one now?  What if a Velvet Revolution is already happening in the United States?

The very act of expressing yourself now can put you at risk for a financial penalty, if you don’t use the words the government wants you to use. They can fine you if you don’t use non-gender specific pro-nouns.

A group of State Attorneys General are going after Exxon and Conservative think tanks to access their emails to see what exchanges were happening when these groups wrote papers that questioned so called man-made “Global Warming.”   There is a wide range of beliefs around Global Warming. But the only way for the government to win the case is to have judges decide — out of a body of scientific evidence that they are not qualified to judge — what is true.

When you have a group of people deciding what is true, what you’re setting up is a “Ministry of Truth.” Wouldn’t that be a sort of Velvet Revolution?

And what about the nation’s highest law enforcement officer taking a secret meeting with a target witness in an ongoing case — AG Lynch and Bill Clinton? Or the FBI this weekend recommending no charges for Hillary Clinton? Are we in the middle of a revolution right now?
