The media is now speaking with people in the heartland

There is something very significant happening in journalism and it gives me some hope. Because things can sometimes seem hopeless, especially when you sit and watch the media sell their own credibility.

When the media sells their credibility with occasional fake news and their constant, one-sided agenda against Trump, they are selling out our First Amendment. And part of this is driven by bubble think.

But organizations like the Huff Post are sending their reporters on a bus tour to go through “real America,” the heartland, to see what real people think. They want to find out their concerns. Reuters is doing the same thing. This can only be a good thing. Because it’s so easy to hate people you don’t know; it’s really difficult to hate someone you shared dinner with.

Facebook’s Jeff Zuckerberg is following suit, going out talking to farmers and people doing traditional things. Zuckerberg is going to every single state to meet people and learn about their concern and worries.

Let’s hope these kinds of conversations continue because the far left could stand to have their eyes opened.
