Four months after announcing to his listeners he was battling stage three throat cancer, Michael Medved announced he’s officially cancer-free.

The nationally syndicated talk show host learned Monday that the endless treatments worked.

“Right before the show, I went in for a PET scan where they use this very complicated and sophisticated machine, look over your whole body, and try to determine if cancer has returned or if there is a cancer growing.

“I’m very pleased to now say I’m officially cancer-free.”

Michael said he’s feeling much better, especially after hearing the great news.

“The great thing for me was seeing the picture from last December that showed this horrible tumor that was going to kill me and then that same part of my throat and neck where it’s all gone. It’s clean as a whistle.”
