New dog food commercial markets directly to dogs

TIME reports a new commercial for dog food, set to air in Austria, is aiming directly at man’s best friend.

The new ad has high-pitched tones, and pet-toy-like squeaks, aimed directly at dogs, who hear sounds above what the human ear can pick up.

Play it for your dog and see what happens. Do his ears perk up like the dog in the ad? Would your dog’s reaction influence your decision to purchase the food?
