Another reason to be proud of Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson...

Russe

The one criticism of Russell Wilson is that at times, especially in his post-game news interviews, he is described as somewhat robotic. He gives answers, but they’re often cliches. People think it sounds like he’s really trying to sound like a wonderful person.

Thursday night, after the Cowboys game, I sat there listening and I heard Russell Wilson in a way that I never have before.

Before the game, he was part of this million-dollar donation that was made to Strong Against Cancer, a group that works with pediatric cancer. He was so eloquent and passionate in talking about the work this organization does.

I want you to hear the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks in a way that I’ve never heard him before in a post-game interview. (At 4:19 minutes:)

Preseason Week 3: Russell Wilson vs Cowboys Postgame Press Conference
