What will be the breaking point for the Seattle homeless crisis?

There is a breaking point for the Seattle homeless crisis. And it’s going to happen when the people of Seattle wake up to what is going within the Seattle City Council regarding the homeless.

Have you heard about the amount of real estate you are about to give away in the form of eminent domain to homeless people?

Why young men are choosing not to work

Our Seattle City Council is going to give away 167 miles of sidewalks and 5,200 acres of park land. This is not helping the Seattle homeless crisis and it is not compassionate.

Compassion has to start with the people who are supporting the city. But the city council intends to allow homeless to take over land for camping. Some of the land that could go away is Woodland Park, Green Lake Park, Seward Park, and the Arboretum. Your city is being given away piece-by-piece.

Doesn’t the city council see that homeless people around the country will find out that this is happening and come to Seattle for the free land?

We pay taxes for these parks — they’re yours.

The choices for the homeless in Seattle should be the following:

• A shelter

• Transitional housing

• Help getting back to family

• Getting a job

• Jail

• Leaving town

What the Seattle City Council is doing is guaranteed to make sure that the Seattle homeless crisis will get worse.
