Does it offend you when politicians suggest that we are their children? What about when you’re told you need to parent adult human beings? Well, how would you feel if someone wanted to legalize heroin?

What we’re being told here in Washington state is that we need to be parents to homeless drug addicts. We’re being asked to provide housing but we’re also going to be asked to provide heroin. We are being asked to essentially legalize heroin.

It’s going to start with the buildings we’re going to be asked to build for them and the nurses we’re going to be asked to hire to babysit these adult drug addicts. But eventually someone is going to overdose. If someone dies, there will be lawsuits. And then individuals are going to take drugs at a sanctioned facility and then get in a car and kill someone. And then you (the state) are going to be sued.

We’re then going to be told, that you the parent, need to provide the actual heroin, so that they don’t overdose on impure or unknown drugs.

We are going to simply be a check book parent to these adult addicts. The President of the Union Gospel Mission, Jeff Lilley, told the Ron & Don Show, that by sanctioning safe heroin sites, we will basically legalize heroin in Seattle and King County.

Democrats and Republicans, this is madness and pure pandering. You know this is wrong. We need to contact our representatives and tell them that we don’t want to be turned into a drug-dealing, non-custodial parent.
