The U.S. debt is larger than the value of the 500 largest public companies

Barack Obama has doubled our national debt. But those in Washington D.C. don’t really notice because there is a never a recession or a depression in the capital — everyone is working there and has a good gig.
The United States debt is larger than the value of the 500 largest public companies in the U.S. combined. We can tax all the rich and it still won’t pay off the debt.
Should we go after the banks? They’ve received a lot of our money illegally, but our debt is even larger than all assets managed by the top seven money-managing companies.
The debt is 25 times larger than all global oil exports in 2015. So oil isn’t going to pay down our debt either.
This country’s debt is larger than all of the world’s physical currency, gold, silver and bit coin combined.
And what are we spending all this money on? Utter nonsense.
This is a terrible fact of 2016 America. If we double this debt again, it will never, ever be paid. We need a flat tax or fair tax. And we, on a statewide basis, need to elect representatives that aren’t afraid to make cuts. We need people that put the United States above their next two year election.
