Watch Dori Monson’s first presidential campaign video

Looking for something different in politics? Well, watch out, because Dori Monson says he’ll “leave you alone” if you vote for him.

Disillusioned with the candidates put forward by the public, the KIRO Radio host declared his intention to run for US President on Oct. 11 after stumbling upon the form for write-in candidacy in Washington state. His name made Washington’s official write-in list just days later. Now, on the eve of the final presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Dori’s got a campaign video.

Dori doesn’t have an official running mate, though he spoke with Guns N’ Roses bassist, and Seattle native, Duff McKagan about the matter on the Seahawks’ pregame show Sunday. McKagan said he’s “absolutely” excited to partner with Dori once he returns from touring South America.

“We’ll solve Seattle’s ills,” McKagan said.

Dori still hasn’t released his plan for the nation’s budget or foreign policy but his primary campaign message is loud and clear: “I will leave you alone.”
