Why deliberately try to cause discord?

Jul 12, 2016, 5:46 PM | Updated: 5:48 pm

I so loathe the leftist agitators who are trying to deliberately cause discord. They try to convince people that America is an evil place.

I’m not talking about your next door neighbor who is a Democrat. I’m talking about specific groups of people who are calling for violence in American streets. The worst part about it is that they are really good at convincing people that things are falling apart in America. But that is not true.

We need to convince people of the actual facts. One FBI crime statistic says that “an African American is more likely to take the life of an officer than to have their life taken.” The FBI didn’t skew that; it is just what the data shows.

The shooter in Dallas wanted to kill as many police officers, particularly white police officers, as he could. That was his goal.

We need to have conversations on why someone would feel this way. The common view is that Conservatives don’t care. We need to present a hand in friendship and really hear what our neighbors are saying. And we can’t present the facts until we honestly and openly present ourselves. I want to have conversations about race relations within our communities.

We need to start conversations so we can share experiences and have full and meaningful discussions. Let’s not let this opportunity go to waste. Let’s rise above the agitators and help come up with a solution.
