Video: Fact Check: Did Robert DeNiro Yell at Pro-Palestine Student Protesters?

May 3, 2024, 4:00 PM | Updated: 4:28 pm

A video is going viral online of acclaimed actor Robert DeNiro yelling on the streets of New York. With lines like, “This is not a movie! Move behind the barricade,” many accounts have quickly grabbed the clip and reposted it with captions claiming that DeNiro was attacking pro-Palestine protesters. But his publicist says it was taken completely out of context. Jack Stine and Spike O’Neill are determined to get to the bottom of it for one of their all-time favorite actors.

Tune in live to The Jack and Spike Show weekdays from noon to 3pm on KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM. And if that timing, or our location in western Washington is inconvenient for you, we also have a daily podcast of the show.
