A house fire in Tacoma has left one person dead.

Fire crews arrived at a home on N. Union near N. 24th, just before 10:00 Sunday morning.

Firefighters had a tough time finding the fire and putting out the flames, due to the condition of the inside of the home.

After about 40 minutes, they had the fire under control.

One person was found deceased inside the house.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
