Seattle Fire crews respond to 2-alarm boat fire in Westlake marina

Seattle Fire Department crews responded to a boat on fire in a marina in Westlake Wednesday around 4:30 p.m.
The 40-foot boat was in the covered marina, and the fire had spread to the roof of the marina, SFD reported on X.
SFD upgraded the fire to a 2-alarm fire before the flames were extinguished. Smoke could be seen from miles away.

However, fire crews reported the boat is submerged.
KIRO 7 reported that the damages are severe.
