Dave Ross might not be the biggest fan of sports ball, but he knows impressive talent and a star when he sees one. That’s why he was inspired to write a song in honor of Ichiro Suzuki when the player began hitting his way into Mariners history.

Ross crafted his Ichiro song taking some notes from the classic song “The Barber of Seville.” And as it became evident on March 21, 2019 that Ichiro would retire after the Mariners final game in Tokyo, Ross resurrected his musical tribute to the great player.
