Ross: The best place to migrate as climate change gets worse

Greta Thunberg isn’t the only teenage activist trying to shame politicians into action over climate change.
Jamie Margolin of Seattle, founder of Zero Hour, talked to CBSN about her frustrations lobbying members of Congress.
“They’ll just pat us on the head and be like, ‘Good job, you know, you’re so cute, so inspiring, maybe some day you should run for office and you can take action on climate,'” she told CBSN. “Which is messed up…”
“Messed up” because time has run out, she says.

But she needs to understand that the skeptics who see these warnings as a threat to the American lifestyle are not going to change. So the young people have to be ready for the next phase. And if you look at the maps, the next phase is pretty clear. Head north!
The climate maps show that the southern half of the US will get less and less livable. So the only option left for true believers is Northward Ho! A great Northward migration.
Washington state and Maine look pretty good. But the real migration magnet? Canada! Ice-free ports, lots of fresh water, temperate climate – plus national health care! But don’t wait too long. When the climate skeptics finally catch on and massive American caravans start flooding the border, even those nice Canadians might start sounding like us with “build that wall” chants.
Except of course they’ll add “eh” at the end.
