A rare coin shop’s decision to install a new security system pays off after armed men showed up at two of their eastside locations.
A few days ago, Bellevue Rare Coins in Issaquah and Bellevue had a group of men show up at both stores’ front doors.
CEO Eric Hoolahan told KTTH’s Jason Rantz they were wearing hoodies, masks, and gloves and appeared armed.

The Bellevue Rare Coins location in West Seattle was robbed back in April.
After that, the company installed a new security system at each location. The only way someone can enter the store is if they are buzzed in by an employee.
Hoolahan provided the police with surveillance video to help with the investigation.
