Overnight shooting on Aurora Ave. leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating a deadly north Seattle shooting that left one dead and one injured in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The shooting, ruled a homicide by detectives, happened on the 14300 block of Aurora Ave. Seattle police responded to reports of a shot person at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.

KIRO Newsradio Headlines: Police investigate fatal motel shooting on Aurora

Responding officers discovered a 44-year-old man with fatal gunshot wounds. Medics transported a second man, 46 years of age, to Harborview Medical Center with a graze wound.

SPD has not reported a suspect. An investigation remains ongoing.
