President Donald Trump appears to be taking on the NRA.

Gov. Inslee tells Trump teachers don’t want to pack heat

“There’s nothing to be afraid of. And you know what, if they’re not with you, you have to fight them every once in a while …”

I realize this is nothing for a man who has said he would himself run unarmed into live gunfire. But it has ended many a political career.

Yet, he says he would raise the age requirement to purchase semi-automatic rifles to 21. He said bump stocks are toast. He wants stronger background checks. He says hardening school buildings would cost too much.

This is all in defiance of the NRA.

But Dave, you say, he is talking about arming teachers! Yes, but every time he says it, he ups the requirements!

“They should go through a very strong, strenuous training.”

He’s setting a standard – that these armed teachers should be rigorously-trained.

“Very few people would qualify.”

Personally, I think that should apply to everybody who carries. Because what trainers can also do is weed out the people who have no business touching a gun. Maybe I’m being naive, but could this be the president who is actually willing to enforce the first four words of the Second Amendment?

When does a protest cross the line? I can answer that. When it devolves into violence, obviously it crosses a line.

Ross: Are we killing car culture? Or is car culture killing the US?

I don’t think the question is whether we're going to "kill" our car culture. The real question is can we stop our car culture from killing the U.S.?

Every move you make, every swerve you take, every lane change you fake – someone’s watching you. Do drivers have a right to keep driving data private?
