Trump...

Cable commentators were in overdrive over the president’s call to Fox and Friends where he played his jukebox of familiar grievances.

RELATED: It’s only right for the Senate to allow children on the floor

That included this gem: “Remember, we won the election. And we won it easily….” In case you forgot.

I don’t want to get into a personality diagnosis, but I detected a little of Lewis Black’s angry man routine, and the Steinbrenner bit from Seinfeld.

But the most remarkable thing is how the president went on about the Russia investigation and how there’s no collusion, and corruption within the FBI.

He also went on about why they aren’t investigating the Democrats. He would barely stop to take a breath, which made it difficult for the hosts to ask questions because there were just none of the usual spaces that you expect when you interview people. It just went from how unemployment is lower than ever to Kim Jong-un offering to nuke his nukes before he even asked, to how Michael Cohen is a good guy — but he’s not really a lawyer. He’s a businessman who did only a tiny bit of work for the president.

Anyway, on this idea that Trump would fire everybody investigating the collusion that didn’t happen, that’s easy to prevent. Just have CNN predict he’s about to do it, and he will deliberately not do it just to prove them wrong.

And for those of you worried about blackmail because of the lurid dossier, remember, blackmail only works if the blackmailer has something embarrassing on the target. It doesn’t work on someone who clearly isn’t embarrassed by anything.

Ross: Are we killing car culture? Or is car culture killing the US?

I don’t think the question is whether we're going to "kill" our car culture. The real question is can we stop our car culture from killing the U.S.?
