The search is on for a Puyallup man who detectives say allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend.
“He is armed,” said Detective Ed Troyer with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office. “We need (people) to call 911 and let us know if they see the vehicle or if they see him and let us take care of putting him into custody.”
The sheriff’s office says 26-year-old Jordan Eaton shot his 19-year-old girlfriend shortly after 4 a.m. Monday in a home in the South Hill area. He took off with a gun, and stole a van from a business.
“He knows we’re looking for him,” Troyer said. “He’s armed and on the run. He’s been arrested multiple times in the past so he’s somebody who is well-versed in the criminal justice system. And we are considering him armed and dangerous.”
If you see him or the stolen van, do not approach him — call 911.
The van is a white 2006 GMC Savanna with a small refrigeration unit on top, and a Liberty Distribution logo on the sides. Eaton is a white man, 5′ 8″ tall, and 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
