Ramon Aspetia was returning home from one of two jobs he holds in West Seattle when he was brutally attacked.

Aspetia, a father of two, was stabbed multiple times, including in the back. The blade that entered his back near his spine broke off.

Now King County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for help identifying suspects in the case. Investigators have released photos and video of the suspects, and are asking residents to call Crime Stoppers with any information. Crime Stoppers can be reached at 1-800-222-8477.

When the first King County deputy arrived at the scene at 15th Avenue SW and SW Roxbury in White Center Wednesday, Aspetia told the deputy he could not feel his legs.

Aspetia was sent to Harborview Medical Center’s intensive care unit. A crowdfunding effort is underway to help pay for medical expenses.

“We are all hoping for a full recovery and he could use your thoughts and prayers at this time,” organizer Ben Jenkins wrote on the crowdfunding site. “This is gonna take a tremendous toll on his family and of course his two children.”

Detectives are still seeking the suspects, who law enforcement describes as Hispanic men in their late teens or early 20s with blue bandanas. The King County Sheriff’s Office released two videos of the suspects and hope it can help lead to an arrest.
