Van Cise said she “wouldn’t be surprised if we had low 70s near the foothills.”

The rest of the region can expect mid- to high-60s.

The warm weather is nipped at the heels of a March record set in 1987. The record high for March is 75 degrees. The record low is 11 degrees.

The rest of the weekend is expected to be cool and wet.

KING 5 reports temperatures will range from the high 40s, to the mid- to- upper 50s. Rain and wind is expected Saturday. Rain is also expected Sunday.
