No Thrift Shop: Ryan Lewis of Macklemore fame buys Seattle mansion

Seattle hitmaker Ryan Lewis of Macklemore fame is trading in the thrift shop for something a little more upscale, recently buying a palatial mansion in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood.
The producer and co-songwriter of such chart toppers as Thrift Shop, Same Love, and Can’t Hold Us closed on the 4-bedroom, 3.75-bathroom home in January, according to Redfin. The 7,610 square foot mansion sits on just under one acre of land. The home was built in 1995. Redfin reports it’s one of the top 10 most expensive Seattle homes sold in January.
The listing says it all:

Redfin confirmed the purchase through property records, the listing agent, and social media connections.
Lewis won’t have much time to spend in his new digs. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have just resumed their 2014 world tour in Australia, and have a full slate of shows booked with stops from Australia to Asia and ultimately, Europe, through the next six months.
