Authorities investigating suspicious death near Lake Desire outside Renton

The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what they call a suspicious death that occurred overnight near Lake Desire.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Cindi West says a 27-year-old man was found dead inside a home on the 17800 block of Lake Desire Drive Southeast, near Renton, just after 10:30 p.m. Monday evening.

Medics arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. A law enforcement source tells The Seattle Times the man appeared to have been shot. West says detectives will release more information Tuesday.
