‘Very high’ party crasher steals pizza and balloons from Green Lake birthday party

Talk about a party crasher. Seattle police arrested a man they say was “very high” after he crashed an 8-year-old’s birthday party at Green Lake Wednesday evening, taking pizza and balloon animals.

Parents called police after the 28-year-old suspect sat down at a table with several kids, ate several pieces of pizza and stole two balloon animals.

The guy refused to leave after parents asked him and got into a “very heated” exchange with families at the party.

Officers arrived just after 6 p.m. to find him laying in the grass near the wading pool. He appeared to be under the influence of a “potent relaxant of some kind.”

Officers arrested the man as he tried to walk away after refusing an offer for medical treatment. He was booked into the King County Jail for theft.
