Alleged groper chased by angry mob through Seattle streets

Jun 19, 2013, 11:45 AM | Updated: 12:52 pm

Evidently bystanders in Seattle’s Occidental Park were not OK with a man who apparently got a little grabby with a woman there on Monday.

Seattle police report an angry crowd chased the man through Pioneer Square.

The suspect, fleeing the crowd, reportedly ended up punching two of the people chasing him.

Police responding to the scene were able to separate the suspect from the crowd, but officers say it seemed members of the group, “wanted to take matters into their own hands.”

The man was booked into the King County Jail for three counts of assault.
