UW student accused of having sex with 12-year-old girl

A University of Washington student is being held on $100,000 bail, accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl.
Seattle Police say the two met on “The Ave” Sunday night and went to the 22-year-old man’s apartment to smoke pot.
The girl allegedly told the man she was 12 before they had sex.
The Seattle Times reports police found out about the incident when somebody who knows the man called authorities Monday night.
The caller was apparently with both the victim and suspect at the time.
