Dave Ross says Jeff Bezos ‘just doesn’t get it’

Donald Trump has had some harsh words for the media as of late, especially after reporters began questioning what happened to the money he promised to veterans groups.
The frustrated Republican billionaire even went on a 40-minute rant against the “dishonest” and “sleazy” reporters who pressed him on the issue.

The rant occurred Tuesday, the same day as The Washington Post interviewed him about the subject, and before he announced that he had made good on his promise to give veterans groups millions from a highly publicized fundraiser. After his announcement, Trump called reporters “unbelievably dishonest” for its treatment of the issue. He dismissed an ABC reporter as “a sleaze.”
The name-calling followed a statement by Trump last week when he suggested that The Washington Post’s investigations into his background are part of a tax-dodging scheme.
That was enough for Amazon CEO and Post owner Jeff Bezos to return fire. The Seattle billionaire says he will not let Trump’s criticism derail the Post’s efforts.
But KIRO Radio’s Dave Ross says Bezos has it all wrong and summed it up with one tweet:
