Man on run from police contacts ‘Washington’s Most Wanted’

A fugitive on the run from the law usually keeps their head down, which is why David Rose was surprised when one of Washington’s most wanted fugitives contacted him on Facebook.

“He posted this long diatribe on my Facebook page — I can’t even say much of what he said,” Rose told KIRO Radio’s Ron and Don Show.

Rose hosts Washington’s Most Wanted, a TV show that features the state’s most wanted criminals. Shaun Tubbs, 28, has 14 felony convictions and is currently hiding from police.

“If you know where Shean Tubbs is, call 911,” Rose said. “He’s running around flop houses in North Bend and Snoqualmie.”

“He’s got a lot of people that like him and say he’s a good guy,” he said. “I think he likes the attention.”

Crime Stoppers is currently offering a a $1,000 reward for help tracking Tubbs down.

Amid a hunt for Tubbs, he wrote to Rose through Facebook about the “new haters” in town who were judging him before they knew the whole situation.

“… well people I have your names and its not hard to find every single one of you smart guys second I’m not that guy I worked a full time job 70 hours a week raising my beautiful 6 year old daughter and just (minding) my own business and you talk about or criminal prosecution.”

The Snoqualmie Police Department received a Crime Stoppers tip that Tubbs was in a mobile home park in North Bend Tuesday. Officers requested backup from the King County SWAT Team but Tubbs got away. Detectives said they had probable cause to arrest him for more than 10 new felony crimes. Investigators say Tubbs recently made comments to friends that he will not go back to jail and if cornered, will “go for a gun.”

Rose notes that one recent allegation is that Tubbs stole a family’s moving truck and cleaned it out.

In the Facebook message, Tubbs criticized the cops with profanity and called them “a bunch of pissed off pigs cause they can’t catch someone.”

They have been the ones breaking the laws ripping no trespassing sighs off peoples gates so they can come in or just walking into someone’s home while they were showering lying and slandering my name assaulting random people cause theythinl its me. Well people I’m trying to get my money together to get a lawyer and than I’ll turn my own self in cause I’m not no punk (expletive) scum bag like most of you say but I’m a mother (expletive) man I’m shaun mother (expletive) Tubbs you scum bag (expletive) pos punk lames. So and go drink yourselves to death or go touch another kid or beat on your loved ones cause I guarantee all of this (expletive) I just said you people at least do one of them so judge me I dont give two (expletive) about what you say about me cause I’m proud of who I am and I’m not really proud of some of my actions but no this I’m (expletive) human just like you I bleed just like you and I breathe just like you the difference is that I just got told on or caught and you haven’t yet you know what in saying cause most of you are alcoholics that drink and drive your the d.v.ing punks and you’re the children woman beating pieces of (expletive).
