520 bridge closure overnight Thursday

Plan ahead, the 520 bridge is closed to traffic overnight. The bridge will close in both directions, between Montlake and I-405, from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Contractors are removing some cables and power lines to make space for construction cranes. Bridge maintenance crews will also do some inspection and repair work.
The bridge is open this weekend but the following weekend, Sept. 21 through 24, the bridge will close from late Friday night until early Monday morning for culvert work.
