Annual Puyallup Fair kicks off 17-day run

The annual cattle drive and rodeo parade through Puyallup are some of the highlights for the first day of the fair.

The 17-day event features a rodeo, concerts, food, exhibits, animal displays, and nightly fireworks.

Reporter Tim Haeck ran into a group of girls who said “boys” were also a feature at this year’s fair.

Rachel Belle of the Ron & Don Show is most excited about the food, specifically the fried lemonade. Read more.

The Puyallup Fair began in 1900 and is one of the largest state fairs in the nation with attendance expected to exceed one million visitors.
