A Kent woman insists her husband threatened to kill her just before she stabbed him to death in the backseat of a moving car.
Police were called to a parking lot last Friday found 45-year-old Janice Burrell crying and acting confused, with blood on her clothing saying, “I killed him. I killed him.”
A witness told Kent detectives Burrell seemed proud of what she’d done and puffed out her chest.
At the Kent city jail, detectives say they read Burrell her rights before she admitted stabbing Smith with his own knife, saying: “Karma is a —– and he got what he deserves.”
Burrell is charged with second degree murder, held on $1 million bail.
