After Trump’s doozy of a speech, bad guys might want to pack up

Donald Trump seemed to soften up his position on people living in the U.S. illegally, except for the bad ones, KIRO Radio's Dave Ross says.
Donald Trump gave a speech in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, followed by a town hall on FOX where he slightly revised his immigration plan.
He is no longer talking about rounding up all 11 million people here illegally. Now he’s talking about letting the good ones stay.

“I had a meeting with great people, great Hispanic leaders,” Trump explained. “And there certainly could be a softening, because we’re not looking to hurt people. We have some great, great people in this country.”
But for the bad ones.
“Those people are going out day one…”
And yes, there is no longer any doubt about the wall. After omitting it from one speech, he is back to saying Mexico will pay for it.
The other good thing for Trump: the Associated Press reviewed Hillary Clinton’s calendars from her time as secretary of state and found that she held meetings with 154 private individuals. Eighty-five of whom were contributors to the Clinton Foundation — and pretty generous, too. Their combined donations totaled $156 million. That’s going to turn off a lot of Bernie Sanders supporters, and it energized Trump.
“It is impossible to figure out where the Clinton Foundation ends and the State Department begins,” Trump said.
It was a strong performance. Even The New York Times ran a headline warning not to expect a Clinton landslide.
