Xtreme Sunday Hiking: Escaping from the Sun

Too much damn sunshine — so we spent Sunday hiking the old Snoqualmie Tunnel. Two and a half miles of dark and damp fed by a chilly draft, the way Northwest hiking should be.

Strangely, it led us directly to the hideout of the Power Rangers, who asked us to snap their picture:

Knowing danger would be just around the corner, we looked for the emergency phone, but…
