A bicyclist struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Thursday afternoon was a 44-year-old Seattle man who worked in the South Lake Union area.
Representatives of PATH, an international non-profit health care organization, say the man was a staff photographer. The King County Medical Examiner identifies him as Mike Wang, saying he died of rib fractures and blunt force injury.
Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle seen heading away from the scene of the crash on Dexter Avenue North. It’s described as a brown, American-made SUV with tinted windows and a roof rack.
Well-wishers have left flowers on the sidewalk near where Wang was struck and killed.
