A female driver in Edmonds has been arrested for a suspected DUI after she crashed her SUV on Monday, the Edmonds Police Department (EPD) reported.
The collision occurred in the 8700 block of Bowdoin Way, and EPD has closed the roadways near the crash for an extended period of time.
Traffic delays due to Edmonds crash
Drivers in the area are encouraged to seek alternate routes as delays are expected.
EPD did not provide additional details about the crash and how long the closure is estimated to last.
Photos provided by the EPD indicate that the SUV crashed into telephone pole lines, and the front half of the vehicle remained suspended in the air.
The South County Fire Department is also on the scene, assisting with clean-up efforts.
EPD and South County Fire appear to have implemented a stabilization technique with several poles to keep the SUV in its current position.
No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
