The event, hosted in partnership with — full disclosure — 425 Business, will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Aug. 11 over Zoom. It’s free to attend with an RSVP. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. To register, visit here.

The session is especially aimed manufacturers, business leaders, and organizations focused on sustainability or regional economic development. Attendees can learn more about practical strategies to reduce costs, improve supply-chain reliability, and create new revenue opportunities through collaboration.

Kyle Gitchell, circular economy development director at the Washington State Department of Commerce, will attend to discuss Washington’s emerging circular-economy initiatives and how industrial symbiosis can help businesses improve efficiency, reduce waste, and unlock new value from existing resources.

“As supply chains and resource costs continue to shift, businesses across Snohomish County are looking for innovative ways to remain competitive while building long-term resilience,” said Ray Stephanson, president and CEO of the EASC, in a press release. “This conversation gives organizations practical ideas and collaborative strategies that can turn resource challenges into new opportunities for growth.”
