Fatal shooting at Lynnwood gas station leaves one dead, one in custody

A fatal shooting occurred at a Lynnwood gas station late Sunday night, with one victim sustaining several gunshot wounds.
At approximately 11 p.m., Lynnwood Police Department (LPD) officers responded to reports of shots fired at the gas station in the 19900 block of 44th Avenue W, LPD announced.
As officers arrived, they located an adult male victim suffering from several gunshot wounds. Officers immediately performed lifesaving measures, but the victim succumbed to his injuries.
An adult male suspect was taken into custody at the scene in connection with the shooting.
LPD detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the events preceding the incident.
