Listen to Dave Ross Commentary: And the Oscar for best news tease goes to
Oh, it was classic Donald — first the leak: Donald
Trump endorsing Newt GINGRICH! Then the reveal:
“It’s my honor to endorse Mitt Romney,” announced Trump.

Gotcha! Classic Donald. But now…now I’m sad.
Remember when Trump showed up in New Hampshire, bragging about how he forced Obama to release his birth certificate:
“Today I am very proud of myself,” said Trump.
And then he promised an announcement:
“I think you will be surprised by what my announcement is,” said Trump.
And then a month later he made the announcement…
“I will not be running for president as much as I’d like to,” said Trump.
But then a few months after that he changed the announcement?
“Because if the Republicans pick the wrong person, I would in fact consider running.”
But now — it’s over. If he’d endorsed Gingrich, who is NOT going to get the nomination, there was still a chance Trump would run. But Romney’s obviously going to get the nomination so… it’s over. The next nine months are going to be Donald-less.
“Governor Romney go out and get him,” said Trump.
The thrill is gone. But wait a minute — what’s this? Roseanne Barr seeking the Green Party nomination?
“To start curing this world I am officially announcing I am running for president of the United States of America,” said Barr.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
