We are rich!

Listen to Dave Ross Commentary: We are rich!

I know we just saw the stats that 48 percent of Americans are low income or poor, but watching last night’s republican debate, I realized we’re in fact ROLLING IN MONEY. Because all of these budget cutters were spending money like crazy:

Rick Santorum wants to bomb Iran:

“We should be planning a strike against their facilities and say if you do not open up those facilities and not close them down, we will close them down for you.”

Rick Perry is ready to send planes into Syria:

“I’ve already called for an over-fly zone. They are Iran’s partner. They are attached at the hip.”

And Mitt Romney —

“We need to rebuild our Navy and go from nine ships a year to 15. We need to modernize our Air Force. We need 100,000 new additional troops in our military.”

He has the biggest shopping cart of all:

“A strong America prevents people from trying to test us around the world.”

And maybe he’s right but there was not a HINT of concern about where to get the MONEY for this! Which is why I say America must be rich, because we haven’t paid for the last trillion dollar war, and all these guys are talking about the NEXT war!

Except for the crazy guy in the attic.

“To me the greatest danger is that we will have a president that will overreact. Why were we flying a drone over Iran? Why do we have to bomb so many countries and we’re totally bankrupt? How are you going to rebuild a military when we have no money?” said Ron Paul.

Well, crazy guy, because we’re rich. If we buy those ships on layaway at K-Mart, a generous neighbor might pay for them.
