On Monday night, the Mariners and their fans honored Ichiro Suzuki as he returned to Safeco Field with the Miami Marlins.

As Brent Stecker with 710 ESPN Seattle writes, “The crowd at Safeco gave No. 51 a long standing ovation prior to his first at-bat, his first in Seattle since the 2014 season and first time as a Marlin.”
The morning after, KIRO Radio’s Dave Ross honored Ichiro with song.
The Mariners continue their series against the Marlins Tuesday at 7:10 p.m.
