Senator calls former state GOP chairman an ‘apologist Republican’

After former state GOP Chairman Chris Vance ripped the Republican party and President Trump, State Sen. Doug Ericksen is calling him an ‘apologist Republican.’

He joined KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson Show on Wednesday.  Listen to his interview here.

Vance said he’s troubled by some Republicans who are keeping their heads down, not speaking out, and supposedly trying to keep the party together. He said he’s been speaking out against Trump as president for quite some time.

“He should never have been the nominee and Republicans should be disavowing him now,” Vance said.
