Yanny or Laurel? Dori weighs in

It was the sound clip that took the internet by storm.

So of course, the Dori Monson Show had to weigh in.

People around the world have been debating whether a recording originally from vocabulary.com states the word “Laurel” in a low-pitched male voice or “Yanny” in a higher-pitched voice.

The word that you hear depends on how sensitive your brain is to higher and lower frequencies. Dori had quite a lot of fun playing around with the different pitches of the recording to find out what he heard.
